This image is one of the top sellers. This image was shot on the Bitterroot River just North of
Lolo, Montana in the fall of 2001. Lolo is the home of Traveller's Rest on the Lewis and Clark Trail. This is one of only
two locations where they have found physical proof of Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery.
It took me seven years of returning to this exact spot for all the elements to come together.
Some years it would rain and the leaves would fall, sometimes the burning bushes didn't turn red, etc.
